Our Approach
The Manton Foundation is a collaborative family endeavor, with the Trustees sharing equally in decisions and enjoying the process. We take a pragmatic approach to our work, so we strive to understand the problems put before us and a given organization’s needs. We value open and honest discussions with prospective grantees, and see our due diligence process as an educational and relationship building exercise. Decisions generally are made on a consensus basis.
