We’re deeply curious about our communities, our history, our place in the world, and how we can enable positive change. To that end, we believe that curiosity-driven giving helps us adapt to both our grantees’ needs and our evolving beliefs on how to best provide support.
Before soliciting a proposal, we work diligently alongside our nonprofit partners to carefully evaluate how we can be most helpful, and we continue to collaborate once we’ve accepted it. We’ve found that being transparent, pragmatic, and nimble helps us serve as a runway rather than a roadblock for the organizations we support.

We say “often” because not every project fits neatly into those categories. Nor do we expect them to: our flexible model helps us choose projects based on our values and an organization’s needs instead of a cookie-cutter approach.
